Based on these factors, I thought this suite might be a good step for us, but I wanted to know from the community if it’s viable as an upgrade from 2007.2D CAD and 3D BIM tools for producing architectural designs and documents What is Revit LT? We don’t need the 3D features of the latest versions, as from what I hear, when it comes to drawing residential projects for clients who want it down quick, 3D doesn’t save time. The boss is also looking at getting something with BIM support so we can substantially cut down on the time for pricing out a house, which by far takes the longest. The office has used an indefinite subscription of Autocad 2007 up until now, and everyone’s starting to get pretty fed up with the conflicts with Windows 7/10 and the random crashes from attempting to open a file too quickly. I work at a small drafting company in operation for just over twenty years now, and it’s about time we upgrade our subscription.
